After a 5 year stint in radio, I started my ad agency in a spare bedroom. It was a big decision to go on my own, and honestly, I made it up as I went along … but we grew into the region's largest and only full-service firm. We were successful because we weren't order-takers ... we were passionate about what we believed was the right thing to do. We developed strategically planned solutions that worked, and we took a clients success seriously. But after 32 years of entrepreneurship, learning many hard lessons, (and earning several Emmy nominations, Telly awards and other recognitions) I sold the company.
My husband and I built a home on my family farm, a stunningly beautiful place conducive to creativity and clear thought. Today, in my professional audio booth, I have picked up where I started. A freelance voice actor, narrator, announcer and copywriter, learning something new every day.

When I was a little girl, my father gave me an Argus C-3 film camera. He would take me into the darkroom at the newspaper where he worked, and I would watch him develop his images. Today, when I'm not in the booth, or chasing after my dogs, I'm learning how to use my Canon Rebel T4i. Take a look!
